Am I buying OEM parts? You have the assurance that you are getting the best for your Infiniti when you use Genuine Infiniti Parts. We stock only Genuine Infiniti Parts, unless explicitly stated otherwise and maintain an adequate inventory to meet your servicing needs. Genuine Infiniti Parts are commonly referred to as O.E.M or Original Equipment Manufacturing.
What is OEM? OEM is a common term in the automotive industry meaning Original Equipment Manufacturing. The OEM definition constitutes a federally licensed entity required to offer warranty and guarantee their products, unlike after-market which is not legally bound to the government rules and regulations of liability. This simply means OEM Infiniti parts and accessories are backed by the manufacturer - Infiniti.
What is the warranty on OEM parts? Accessories installed at the time of retail delivery are warranted for the same time as the new –vehicle limited warranty. Accessories installed by an authorized Lexus dealer after retail delivery, are warranted for 12 months, regardless of mileage, from the date of purchase or installation on a vehicle, or the remainder of any applicable new-vehicle limited warranty, whichever provides greater coverage. Accessories purchased over the counter are covered for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Why should I purchase OEM parts directly from the manufacturers dealer network (an Infiniti dealer)? While we understand OEM Infiniti parts and accessories can be purchased virtually anywhere, only a Infiniti dealership can provide warranty support. Furthermore, any Infiniti dealership can provide warranty support for any Infiniti part or accessory regardless of which Infiniti dealership the part or accessory was purchased.
Why should I buy OEM parts? The exclusive use of Genuine Infiniti Parts for servicing and repairing your Infiniti is strongly recommended. These parts are manufactured to the highest standards of quality and performance, and are designed to fit your vehicle exactly. Each of our parts meets the exacting standards that are set by Infiniti. Only genuine Infiniti parts are designed and manufactured with the same level of workmanship. When you use genuine Infiniti parts, you can trust that they have been tested to meet our superior quality, durability and safety requirements.
Using genuine Infiniti parts can prolong the life of your Infiniti and reduce your cost of ownership.
What is after-market? After-market in automotive terms is a part of the industry concerned with making, distributing and retailing Infiniti parts and accessories after the sale of your Infiniti vehicle – thus after-market is the term used for products made after the fact. Products made in the after-market industry are not legally bound to the government rules and regulations of liability.
How do I install my parts? With many of our accessories we include installation instructions with the product itself or we will make them available online in an Adobe Acrobat PDF document on the products page.
If I install this, will it void my vehicles factory warranty? Installing new OEM parts or accessories will not void your warranty. While this is the case with OEM, after-market parts however may have a negative effect on your vehicles warranty. A good rule of thumb is in the event an after-market part has been installed and that after-market part causes another part to fail that fail part may not be covered under the vehicles factory warranty.
Will it void my extended warranty? In most cases, extended warranties work very similar to factory warranties. Please refer to the details of your warranty contract to discover what is covered and not covered under your extended warranty.
Does my local Dealership need to install my parts? We will always recommend having your local Infiniti dealership install your Infiniti parts and accessories, after all they are professionally trained Infiniti technicians.
What is a Discontinued Item? This is the term we use to show a product has reached the end of its product lifetime and no longer available. While we no longer sale the discontinued product we may choose to keep this product online for reference purposes only. Products we deem discontinued cannot be added to your shopping cart.
Do you offer any technical support or advice? No, we are not technicians. What little technical support or advice we may offer will be placed directly in the products description and/or will display the products installation instructions, usually as an Adobe Acrobat PDF document.
Do you offer any rebates? In few cases, we may choose to offer a rebate. These rebates will usually require the return of a core or previous software version that is exclusively offered by us – not the manufacturer. We will list the available rebates with the specific product.
Do you offer a catalog? No. Our online website is our catalog. We currently do not distribute a paper catalog.
